Albert Schlieder said, “We tend to judge others by their behavior, and ourselves by our intentions.” I wonder what would happen if we started looking at the intentions behind others’ actions first…if we looked at their heart instead. I think we’d see a lot more because judging others by their behavior is like judging a book by it’s cover. Yes, actions obviously speak louder than words, but intentions speak volumes more than even actions can. We could forgive without apologies, love one another more, or even see beauty in those we never thought we could understand…if we make intentions the most important, we can see that the world is full of beautiful people.
